WPDH Roof-A-Thon Motorcycle Run

Registration, Release and Waiver

I AM EXPERIENCED IN AND FAMILIAR WITH THE OPERATION OF MOTORCYCLES AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE RISKS AND DANGERS INHERENT IN MOTORCYCLING. I am voluntarily participating in the event and I expressly agree sole responsibility for the safe and successful operation of my motorcycle, and to accept the entire risk of any accidents or personal injury, including death, which I might suffer as a result of my participation in the event. I further understand and I assume all risks in participating in the event for myself and my heirs, assignees and representatives.

I hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all claims for damages for personal injury, property damages or other similar claims which may occur to me as a result of participation in the event. This release is intended to discharge in advance Sparrow’s Nest of the Hudson Valley, Inc. (“Sparrow’s Nest”), WPDH, Townsquare Media, Inc. and each of its employees, staff, officers, directors and volunteers (“Releasees”) from liability, even though that liability may arise out of perceived negligence on the part of such persons. I hereby assume such risks.

Insurance Requirement. If participating as a motorcycle operator, Participant represents and warrants that the motorcycle being operated is covered by a valid insurance policy that meets or exceeds all minimum insurance requirements mandated by the laws of the State of New York and that such coverage will remain in effect throughout the Event. Participant understands and agrees that neither the Event organizers nor any Released Party provides insurance coverage of any kind for Participant, Participant's vehicle, passengers, property, or injuries.

I understand that this event is not a race, speed contest, or timed competition. I agree to obey all federal, state, and local laws, including all traffic laws and regulations, and I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for the operation of my motorcycle and my conduct during the event.

I understand this event may be videotaped or photographs taken. I authorize Sparrow’s Nest, WPDH and Townsquare Media, Inc. to take, edit and publish, any and all pictures and videos me in connection with the event to be used in and/or for legally produced promotional, fundraising and publicity materials, its website and social media. I agree that no monetary or any other consideration will be given for their use and these uses do not violate my privacy. I will hold harmless the Releasees in connection with these uses.
